Hi there,
Today you have made my day by visiting my blog “A Woman’s Voice” and leaving a comment about your struggles with mental health issues. Your words meant a lot to me and I truly appreciate the time you have taken to read some of my story. I’ve enjoyed visiting you here today and getting to know you better too. Thanks for grabbing my button. I will add you as one of my links on my blogroll. Take gentle care and blessings to you and yours!
Thank you Dolores!
Mental health issues – my own and my son’s are one of those “heavy” issues so many don’t ever talk about. I am honored to know you. My dream is that one day, when someone reaches out for help, there are eager hands willing. Perhaps together, things can be better.
Just a quick note to say ‘thanks’ for the great personal coaching you’ve given me recently as I’ve confronted a scary situation with an ex-boyfriend. Your response was prompt, compassionate and very, very practical! I will be ACTING on your suggestions and already I feel calmer and safer. And I’ll be writing a blog post about the ‘whole story’ soon…for now there are two posts up on my site dealing with this situation, if anyone is interested in more details.
So glad the coaching helped – ongoing scary situations are sometimes more difficult to face than an initial relationship crisis, and I applaud your courage and determination to move forward safely and in recovery!
WOW! I commend you for walking through these incredibly deep valleys
and for climbing over these extremely high mountains, never stopping
or running away from whatever you face. Rarely have I seen anyone who
so beautifully creates something so wonderful from what they’ve been
handed in life. I take my hat off to you! I have been challenged and
encouraged to keep going with my own life from reading what you write
about your own decisions. You’re incredibly gutsy! God bless you with
huge returns on your investment of time and heart.

I’m the mother of a wonderful 17 year old son who ran into some trouble when he tried to “compliment” a young lady he was interested in by commenting on her curvy figure. She took issue with his remarks and Instead of landing a date with her, he got a stinging slap across the face instead (she was thoughtful enough to ask him to remove his glasses first ). Having gone down in flames in his first attempt to ask a girl out (in front of his friends no less), and feeling tremendous guilt for having offended the young lady, he was in a pickle for sure.
Well, I felt a responsibility to help him through this and if possible repair the damage with the girl. I contacted Ronae and described the scenario and she replied promptly. She addressed the situation in a very thorough and insightful fashion, and provided us with the guidance we needed to come up with a plan of action. After helping my son craft an apology, with Ronae’s key points in mind, the girl not only accepted my son’s apology but expressed interest in getting together with him and they are now officially “an item”
Thanks Ronae!! You came through in a very big way. My son and I will never forget this!!
